Which set of fractions is larger 1/2 + 1/6 or 1/4 + 7/12
You Can Use A Clock To find out what the answer is.
1/2 is 30 minutes
1/6 is 10 minutes
then add them together that equals 40 min.s
1/4 is 25 minutes
7/12 is 35 minutes (1/12 = 5 minutes)
25+35=1hour and 5 minutes
so 1/4 and 7/12 is bigger by 25minutes
