What was the hardest thing about this unit?
The hardest thing about this unit was when we did the final calculations of even amount of subs to each student. We were able to get an even amount but the pieces were way to small and i couldn't make big pieces there was always a small amount left.
What do you understand now that you did not understand before?
What i understand now that i didn't before was how to find fractions out using clocks " always used the Lowest common denomenator and other mathatmatic ways.
If you had to teach your parents something about fractions what would it be and how would you do it?
It would be hard to teach them something but a way I could teach them is easier ways of getting answers to fractions by using clocks and teach them the simple thing like 1/2 = 30min and 1/6 = 10 1/12 = 5, 1/3 = 20, 1/4 = 15 you divide the denominator by 60 then thats how much each part of the whole equals.
