I think 1/2+1/4 is larger than 14/7 +1/6

for the second one I used the clocks, you can do 1/2 witch is 30 minutes then 1/6 on a clock would be 40 minutes and if you add those together you will get 1 hour and 10 minutes, you can show 30 minutes like a fraction like 30/60 and 40 minutes will be shown like 40/60 .

With the bike race they did 60 divided by 5 witch equals 12, and every 12 km equals a drick staition, then they divided 60 and 12 and it equaled 20 and the that equals a food staition every 20 km's anfd then they divided 30 and 2 equals 15
