THIS IS WHAT I DID FOR NUMBER 5...
For number five i used common denominator which was 21 because I multiplied 7 *3=21.
After I found the common denominator for the first question 2 3/7 it takes 7 groups of 3 to get to 21 so i multiplied 3 the numerator my 3 too. So it would get me 9/21. For the second fraction i did the same thing but multiplied 3 by seven because it takes 7 groups of 3 to get to 21. Then i multiplied 2 by 7 equals 14. The answer is 23/21. That is an improper fraction so 21 goes into 23 one time and there is 2 left over. Then after i just added all of the whole numbers together. So the answer is 5 2/21.
For number six i did common denominators again. I used 54 for my common denominator beccause i multipilied 9 and 6 together which equals 54.
After i found the common denominator for the first question i multiplied the eight by 6 which equals 48/54 and then i mulitiplied the 5 by nine in the second question which equals 40/54. So i added 48 and 45 together and it equals 93/54. Again its a improper fraction so i just did how many groups of 54 goes into 93 and it only goes into 93 only one time then there would be 39 left over. 1 39/54. AFter i added all of the whole numbers together and got 8 39/54.
