Here is the Net of the B.c Book..
SA= 2(hxl)+2(hxw)+2(LxW)
Sa=2 (18x1)+2(18x10)+2(1x10)
SA=2 (18)+2(180)+2(10)
SA= 36 + 360 + 20
SA= 416cm2
Here is the Volume..
LxWxH---------*THIS IS THE FORMULA!!!
1cm2 x 10cm2 x 18cm2 = 180cm3
Or....
Area of Base X Height
*Area of the base multiplied by the height is another way to get the volume of a rectangular prism or a cube!
(10cm2) 18cm2 = 180 cm3
*Note.. Its Recommended that you click on the Pic to See the Picture and the Math Work Better.
Volume of a Rectangular Prism
LxWxH ---------*THIS IS THE FORMULA!!!
5cm2 x 11cm2 x 19cm2 = 1045cm3
Or....
Area of Base X Height
*Area of the base multiplied by the height is another way to get the volume of a rectangular prism or a cube!
(55cm2)19cm2 = 1045cm3
