Charmaine's Scribe
Charmaine and Kathleen's Scribe
Today in class we learned about dividing fractions and
how to do it correctly. We used a ratio table method to
solve these questions that we are about give you.
Now we are going to answer these questions together
one step at a time:
step one;
Make a ratio table and make the two signs cans/rooms
We showed all the steps in the voicethread and sort of try to explain
the steps on the easiest way possible.

Today we worked with the number 4 :) we were supposed to use four 4's and make math equations that equaled numbers 0 - 9.
for example: for the number 0, you can do:
44 - 44 = 0 <-- there are four 4's in this equation :):)
0: 44 - 44 = 0 OR 44 - 44 = 0
1: 4 / 4 + 4 - 4 = 1 OR 44 / 44 = 1
2: (4 / 4 ) + ( 4 / 4 ) = 2
3: ( 4+ 4+ 4 ) / 4 = 3 OR 4 x 4 - 4 / 4 = 3
4: [ ( 4 - 4 ) 4 ] + 4 = 4 OR 4 x 4 / *the square root of* 4 - 4 = 4
5: 4 x 4 + 4 / 4 = 5 OR [ ( 4 x 4 ) + 4 ] / 4 = 5
6: ( 4 + 4 ) / 4 + 4 = 6
7: ( 44 / 4 ) - 4 = 7
8: 4 - 4 + 4 + 4 = 8
9: 4 / 4 + 4 + 4 = 9
done. :)

0: 44 - 44 = 0 OR 44 - 44 = 0
1: 4 / 4 + 4 - 4 = 1 OR 44 / 44 = 1
2: (4 / 4 ) + ( 4 / 4 ) = 2
3: ( 4+ 4+ 4 ) / 4 = 3 OR 4 x 4 - 4 / 4 = 3

6: ( 4 + 4 ) / 4 + 4 = 6
7: ( 44 / 4 ) - 4 = 7
8: 4 - 4 + 4 + 4 = 8
9: 4 / 4 + 4 + 4 = 9
done. :)

Gail's Scribe !
Question 11
The Questions was:
Half a can of paint covers 1/3 of a room. How much paint is needed to cover the whole room?
1/3 = half can of paint
2/3 = whole can of paint
3/3 = one whole and one half paint cans.

1/3 = half can of paint
2/3 = whole can of paint
3/3 = one whole and one half paint cans.
You need one whole and one half paint cans to paint the whole wall.
