For the first two slides, we used clocks to figure them out. We split each clock into sections depending on the denominator.For example,if the denominator was 4, we would spit it up into four sections, and find out how many of those sections we needed,and how much time it was worth. Then, we added it up and compared it with the other addition question.
In the class today we worked with fractions and clocks. If the fracton was 3/12's than we would dive the clock into 12 sectins and then colour 3 Then you would compare the fractions to find the larger one. :)
ahahaa kaysss ok the, my comment is... in class, we used the "clock method" :) to see which pair of fractions is larger. it was easy cause the clock was divisible with many numberssss :)
On the first slide we had to figure out which answer was larger. Like was it 1/4 + 2/4 larger or 1/6 + 3/6 larger. We had to figure it out by using clocks.

ReplyDeletefirst slide i think its 2/5 and 2/10 is bigger because i guessed and 3/4 and 1/10 is bigger and because i guessed!!
